Things to watch for this month

The WOTM board of officers meeting has been postponed until March 10th at 5:30pm.

We have trivia night every other Thursday with Scooter. The next trivia night will be March 10th at 6:30pm. The cost to play is $6.

Senior Regent's Message

Hello All,

Well, this will be my last month as your Senior Regent and I am sad but excited for the coming year. I will still be on the board as the Sr. Past Regent and will provide guidance to the new board.

Robin Holdsworth and I just got back from the Mid-Year Cal/Nevada Moose Convention in Reno and it was a very good learning experience. We had the chance to see and meet lots of WOTM co-workers from other chapters. It is always great to learn what other lodges/chapters are doing to support the Moose, their lodge and to help their communities. Robin also received her Academy of Friendship Degree at the convention. Please congratulate her when you see her.

This past month has been fun and very busy! It’s always great to see everyone supporting the Moose through dinner events, entertainment nights and Queen of Hearts drawing events; however, we need volunteers to make the dinners and other events successful. Even if you’ve “been there and done that”, it would be great if you could just help out with 1 event a year. We’re all in this to support Mooseheart and Moosehaven, and for the continuity of our lodge. We also came together to celebrated Shelly VanAken’s Star Recorder degree last month. Shelly will be receiving her degree at the International Moose Convention in Memphis in July this year and we wanted to recognize her for her hard work in earning this complex degree.

In closing, thank you for all your help during my time as Sr. Regent. It is a very rewarding position and I look forward to helping future Sr. Regents succeed in their role. Please feel free to join us this month for our installation of new board members. The installation will be on Sunday, April 19th at 5PM and food will be provided.
